Royal Spring Middle School’s Summer

Reading Challenge

Our Librarian, Mrs. Mahone, would like to challenge every Royal Spring Titan to read more books than her over the summer of 2008!  So if you are ready to dive into summer reading with a splash, then stop by the library

media center or visit our school webpage (www.royalspringmiddle.net) for more

information because prizes will be awarded in August to those who exceed Mrs. Mahone’s summer reading total!
To qualify for prizes in August, students must submit a summer reading log to Mrs. Mahone by Tuesday, August 12th along with a collection of brief book reviews that feature students’ opinions over each book read.   Please note that while writers of book reviews oftentimes reveal plot

details, they do not merely summarize novels.  Instead, they infuse their reviews with judgments that enable future readers to learn more about possible reads.
